Caterstaff is continually hiring and training experienced chefs, wait staff, bartenders and event managers, especially during the holidays and other peak times throughout the year. This means we always have trained employees ready and at your disposal — and you have the flexibility to add trained service professionals to your team when you need them.

All prospective employees are fully vetted prior to onboarding and training. We perform background checks on all potential staff members to help ensure that we are working with high-quality individuals. In addition, we also perform periodic performance reviews on all staff. Because we consider our staff an extension of our clients’ internal teams, we do our best to match their skills to different nuances, expectations and management styles. We try to send the same staff to clients that request on a regular basis to help reduce any necessary training.

If you are interested in potentially hiring one of our staff, we are happy to discuss “temp to perm” placement. It’s a win-win situation for all parties — a great way for clients to “audition” prospective employees and for our staff to get to know your company before committing to full-time employment with you. If there is mutual interest, we will work with both parties to discuss conversion terms and timing in order to ensure a smooth transition.

Our staff is knowledgeable, highly trained and highly committed.

All Caterstaff service staff are TIPS or ServSafe©Certified, which means they have completed a course in food safety, food handling and alcohol server training and intervention procedures. Our culinary staff hold either a ServSafe Manager or ServSafe Food Handler certification.
